About Alton B. McFadden

Alton B. McFadden went to law school at night while working full-time as a supervisor in a Fortune 500 company. He graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 1998. However, he had been litigating cases before graduation as a legal intern prosecutor for the cities of Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo.

Alton's aggressive approach has resulted in the State of Washington paying over $48,000 in costs and fees to one of his clients after the State lost the Domestic Violence-Assault case. The jury found that not only was the Defendant not guilty of assault, but he had lawfully used self-defense.

Alton has also successfully litigated complex family law cases, including those with domestic violence and sexual assault issues. He has also represented clients in dissolutions with significant assets. Alton is licensed in Washington State and admitted to practice before the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribal Court and the Suquamish Tribal Court.

In his free time, Alton is an avid outdoorsman. He spends as much time as he can fly fishing and bird hunting over a good portion of the west, including Arizona (quail), California (chukar), Oregon (chukar, quail, and pheasant), Montana (pheasant and sharp-tail grouse) and Washington (pheasant, quail, chukar, ruffed grouse, and forest grouse). He has two dogs: a German Wirehair Pointer named Sassy, whose first season in the field was 2010, and she is now retired and enjoying life at home; and Dixie, another German Wirehair pointer whose first year was 2020. Alton also shoots sporting clays as often as possible at the Bremerton Sportsmen's Club.

Last but not least, Alton is married to the love of his life, Kristy.
